Learning Audio in Premiere Pro

Audio in Premiere Pro is simple since many of the more complex and fancy effects are automated.

Audio decibel levels are controlled easily, with a slider being used to make it louder or quieter. The effects you can add to audio are also easy, being able to drag the effect directly onto the audio you want in the timeline.

Audio ducking is done by categorizing different audio into usually dialogue and background sound/effects, which is then balanced out. Audio ducking is lowering one of the two when the other is louder, in order to bring focus to one of the two.

Multichannel Audio is a bit more complex. At its simplest, you are adjusting the mono or stereo-type audio to fit into the timeline how you want it.
